Early Years Bake Off Raises Money for Comic Relief

Posted: 14th March 2013 | Category: Kindergarten

On Thursday 14th March ‘The Early Years’ at Skippers Hill had an enormous cake sale. These were not ordinary cakes as for the past week Kindergarten and Reception had been baking all week to provide nearly 200 muffins, marshmallow crispy cakes and rocky roads. The parents also helped provide even more cakes. The children then donned chef hats and red noses and sold the cakes to all the staff and children at the school. Great fun was had by all and we managed to raise £150 for Comic Relief-the baking skills of the Early Years will be remembered for a long time to come.
