Years 7 & 8 Review Performance of ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’

Posted: 25th January 2013 | Category: Year 7, Year 8

On Tuesday 15th January, Years 7 and 8 travelled to London’s Phoenix Theatre to watch ‘Goodnight Mr. Tom’, which they have been studying in English. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed watching the stage adaptation of this war time story and have perceptively identified similarities and differences between the book, the film and the play.

Back at school, pupils from Year 8 have been reflecting on the experience and have written a review of the play, character descriptions and a short background to the story.
