Year 1 enjoys a visit to Wilderness Woods

Posted: 16th June 2015 | Category: Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Years 1 & 2

Year One went to Lucy's Little Forest School at Wilderness Wood to learn more about their topic on plants.
They spent the morning going for a walk around the woods learning about various plants. They collected different leaves on sticky boards and enjoyed building homes for different toy animals. These included a badger, a bird and a snake. They also explored mole holes and found out that mole holes are actually very small! As you can see from the photos they had a fun filled educational morning!
They particularly enjoyed a quick go on the slide and zip wire before returning back to Skippers!
Thank you to all our parent helpers who came with us on the trip.
