Summer Club is a hit with pupils

Posted: 5th September 2013 | Category: Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Years 1 & 2

Children from Reception to Year 4 enjoyed a fun packed two weeks at the start of the Summer Holidays, at Skippers’ Summer Club.

In the mornings the children enjoyed Make ‘n’ Bake cooking sessions and Swimming, as well as learning French songs and playing games such as Boules, in the Fun with French course.

The afternoons gave children the opportunity to take part in Arts and Crafts sessions, where they made kites and jewellery boxes, and Italian Club, where they were able to learn basic phrases about themselves, as well as counting.

The good weather also allowed for plenty of outdoor fun on the adventure playground, as well as playing with the parachute and water pistols, and flying the kites that the children had made.

The children were delighted to be able to take home something that they had made at Summer Club, at the end of each day.
