Success at East Grinstead Arts Festival

Pupils from Skippers Hill participated in the East Grinstead Arts Festival over the weekend, with some great results.

Jerome won his verse speaking class with an impressive mark of 90.  Only two children were given this mark over the whole weekend.  He was also awarded two further cups for ‘Highest Mark for a Boy Under 12’ and ‘Best Verse Speaker Under 12’.

Other winners were Verity and Caris who were awarded the ‘Tandy Watson Salva’ for duo verse speaking and Bibi for her Shakespeare solo. Elysia won the prose class and Emily came first in the Mime with 85 marks.
