Skippers pupils learn to fence!

Posted: 17th June 2015 | Category: Sports

Paul Beasley came to School to explain the art of Fencing. He impressed the children by telling them that his coach had been a stuntman in Star Wars films and Lord of the Rings.  He showed the children all the protective clothing they would need to wear and the names of the different swords. He then chose 3 lucky children to come up and showed them the first moves that they would learn in Fencing.

Fencing lessons will be available at Skippers Summer Club for a small fee and we will also be running After School Clubs from September but spaces are limited so apply early to avoid disappointment.
