On Friday 18th November, Skippers’ pupils donned their spots to raise money for ‘Children in Need’.
Members of The Charity Committee baked spotty cakes to sell and painted spotty faces at breaktime. Year 8 pupil, Hector Hadow, organised a Pudsey colouring competition for the Juniors, which was won by Year 2 pupil, Jiya Pandya. Year 6 pupils, Imogen Baldwin and Lizzie Webb, baked cakes and sold them on their driveway to make £110. FOSHA donated the proceeds of Friday’s JT Café and Suzie Dixon’s mum sold her pretty handmade jewellery at JT’s to raise a further £67.00.
A total of £360.39p.was raised for the charity and great fun was had by all!
We would love to hear from any other pupils who raised money independently for Children in Need! Just let us know!
All in all a fantastic effort. Well done Skippers!
