New Building Work at Skippers!

Posted: 25th May 2012

The builders were very busy at Skippers Hill over the Easter break transforming the buildings!  Students and staff have all done a double take after returning from their holidays as the transformation is fantastic and the school looks so much bigger, brighter and more spacious.

The new Kindergarten is now set up and has a great play area.  The children have taken a particular liking to the Wendy house - another new addition at Skippers!

Year One children are settling into their new classroom, which has received a make -over and a
brand new interactive board.

The floors in the narrow corridors have been lowered and new steps created, which not only makes this walkway safer, but also creates a lot more room.  There is a great amount of wall space which is already beginning to be filled with colourful artwork.

The Music Room looks like an entirely new room now that the layers of dark varnish have been sanded back to reveal the
original wood flooring  - a fresh, bright interior.

‘Bigger’ and ‘brighter’ are key words to describe the changes at Skippers.   It’s a dramatic transformation which has really improved and enhanced the existing building.
