Mothers Vs Girls Rounders

Posted: 1st July 2015

Following an action-packed Sports Day the previous weekend, the Skippers playing fields were once again in action on a Saturday for the parents vs children matches. With 'oohs' and 'aahs' floating across the field from the Cricket and the occasional shout of 'HEADS!', seven mothers, a dad and as sister took on a mix of girls ranging from year 5 to 8 in a fun Rounders match. The girls took full advantage of their rules knowledge and enjoyed a post match BBQ having secured a 20 ½ -12 win. I would like to congratulate the parents particularly on their second innings when they sussed the second post tactics and began to give the girls a run for their money! Thank you so much to you all for playing and creating such an enjoyable morning of Rounders!
