Messy Mondays are Back

Posted: 25th January 2013 | Category: EYFS

Messy Monday is back with a bang this term and it has been great to see so many children getting messy!

Messy Mondays provide a perfect opportunity for parents to bring their toddlers to participate in some very messy activities, including painting with jelly, playdough, clay, handprinting and lots, lots more. You can make as much mess with us as you like and then leave us to clear it up!

The children are also able to use all the play/learning equipment the Kindergarten has on offer.  We change what is available on a weekly basis.

Messy Mondays has proved to be more than just an opportunity to get messy. It has been a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to make new friends and has also been great for Sue and I to showcase the Kindergarten. Yagmur has just joined Kindergarten.  Before joining, she came to Messy Mondays each week and has now arrived to start her early learning journey full of confidence as she is familiar with her surroundings and also knows Sue and I incredibly well. Messy Mondays gives the children a wonderful taste of what life is like in Kindergarten.

One of the parents said to me on their last visit, “My son would not miss Messy Mondays for the world, it is by far his favourite activity.”

Come and see what all the fun is about...
Messy Mondays run every Monday from 2:15pm to 3:15pm at the Kindergarten, £3 per session.
