Jersey Sports Tour 2017 fun-packed as ever

Jersey 2017 was as fun-packed as ever, filled to the brim with sports, laughter and socialising neatly interlinked with learning all about the Channel Islands and their fascinating history. Every boy and girl got to take part in different kinds of sporting events and enjoyed the privilege of playing at some superb venues kindly hosted by St Michaels Prep School.
It is always interesting to watch a group of children, some of whom are abroad alone for the first time, learn to be more independent, tolerant and kind to each other as the five days progress. Our boys and girls not only gelled well together as a group, they made some good friends with pupils of the six other schools staying at our hotel acting as good 'ambassadors of friendliness' for Skippers Hill Prep.
Spectacular beaches, delicious food in seaside restaurants, a museum in a deep tunnel, night time trip to water park with wave machine and slides, disco, bowling, the 'Durrell Zoo', our own private coach at our disposal... No wonder I heard them discussing on the return journey how they could easily have spent another month in Jersey!
