Enthusiastic, determined and great fun to teach!

Posted: 22nd February 2017 | Category: Sports, Year 4

Three ways to describe this fantastic group of budding sportswomen are 'enthusiastic', 'determined' and 'great fun to teach'! The girls have worked incredibly hard this season on their skills and team-work with a very satisfying degree of success! With  practice and dedication they are beginning to master the art of timing and wise use of the court space along with the skill of passing to the space ahead of a fast moving player! Tricky stuff for an eight or nine year old! So far this season the girls have won an impressive eleven out of thirteen matches.

I was most impressed when faced with a very strong and feisty Hilden Grange team which was a bit of a shock to the system having won nearly all previous matches without much of a struggle, our Skippers U9's upped their game with a fantastic sense of determination and team spirit despite an eventual loss which shows promise of great things to come.

Well done girls!
