Children and Parents enjoy Kate Daniels PSHE workshops during Wellbeing Week

Posted: 13th January 2016 | Category: Years 1 & 2

We were delighted to welcome back Kate Daniels from PSHE Education as children focused on mental and emotional wellbeing in a series of interactive workshops. Pupils from Years 1 to 5 were asked to explore Self Esteem in their sessions and discovered their personality traits through an exciting card game. The children were then encouraged to consider how ALL different strengths were valuable as part of a team.

The focus in the Year 6 to 8 workshops was on dealing with pressures and Kate was impressed with the mature and thoughtful approach of our pupils as they discussed sources of pressure and how to support themselves and each other.

An interesting and informative parent workshop rounded off the day as we considered the changing pressures on our children, warning signs and top tips. Thank you to Kate for a hugely beneficial day.
