£180 raised for Nepal

The Nepal appeal raised £180 and two representatives of Pembury Roundtable, the group associated with the chosen charity, Shelter Box, gave an assembly.
They brought along what the group provide in an emergency and showed the children how the equipment can be used in a disaster.
The children enjoyed being shown what each piece of equipment was used for and most liked the tent, the cooking stove, the wind-up radio and the solar-powered pillow light.
