Year 4 try their hand at broadcasting

For part of the Summer Term’s Drama Year 4 has been having fun creating their very own News programmes. Over a few weeks they worked in groups and enjoyed practising the different roles; Anchorman, interviewer, interviewee, weather person. And they certainly did that! On a lovely sunny June evening the children in Years 6,7 & 8 put on a fabulous show for their families and other guests. Having had less than 3 weeks to prepare, the children put on a polished performance that had us all crying - with laughter as well as pathos. The Year ones have been busy bees. They have continued their learning on Plants. They have been finding out how important bees are too many plants.
