Jersey Tour Day 2 Match Report

Skippers Hill v Kingswood
We had all the play and pressure and Elliott was not troubled in goal. There was good play from the whole team and Max Howard-Hall scored twice - and could have scored several more. We won 2 – 0.

Skippers Hill v Priory
We had most of the space and most of the ball - Max H-H was quickly on the score board again. Tom Dawe had a long range goal disallowed (the whistle had gone for an off the ball incident) then Matthew Good poked out a foot and scored at close range. Max H-H tidied it all up with a goal near the end. We won 3 - 0 to go on into the semi-finals.

Semi Final
Skippers Hill v Kingswood
This was a slightly scrappier game; we did not have it our own way. There were several shots at both ends but Elliott defended well. Then guess who stepped up to score - Max H-H with a belter of a shot! We won 1 – 0.

Final
Skippers Hill v. Boundary Oak ABC
Boundary Oak were far too strong for us with a great midfield control. They scored three goals but we kept fighting. Max H-H came close but the keeper parried away twice and Tom Dawe hammered one over the bar. It was a valiant team effort. Max H-H's five goals were very impressive but everyone in the team was "man of the match!"

Our team
