Possibly the highlight of the Upper School year! All students in Years 7 and 8 (11-13) travel to the Channel Island of Jersey for a five-day sports tour. It is a fantastic experience being away from home and enjoying a full sporting and entertainment's programme.

Every year, about eight mainland schools are invited by the host school, St. Michael's Jersey to compete in Hockey, Rugby, Soccer and Netball. There are the Island Tournaments with the best of Guernsey and Jersey taking on the visitors in Indoor Hockey and Netball. And for the boys, the opportunity of being selected for England 'A' or 'B' in the national shirt against the Jersey 'A' and 'B' Rugby XV's is a moment to savour!

All the teams are housed in a 3-star hotel in St Helier - over 250 tourists and accompanying staff under one roof! In addition to the sports, our pupils enjoy Ten Pin Bowling and socialising! We find the experience of touring so beneficial - our lads and lasses return home with more self-confidence and increased maturity.
